During the past month, Dundee Bank has helped more than 425 Omaha small businesses apply for federal loan and grant programs available through the SBA. We are proud to support these small businesses.

Many small business owners have had better luck applying for the Paycheck Protection Program through smaller community banks like Dundee Bank, according to an article in The Wall Street Journal. Dundee Bank will continue to support as many businesses as we can during the PPP funding extension.

Local small business owners are sharing their Dundee Bank stories on social media. We are thrilled to share a few of their testimonials:

“Time for a shout out to all the bankers out there hustling to get applications submitted to the SBA for the Payroll Protection Program. It’s been a crazy week trying to figure it all out … and our friends at Dundee Bank were at our side the entire time.”

Craig Moody, Verdis Group

“We just signed the final documents for our Paycheck Protection Program loan …This would not have been possible without our friends at Dundee Bank. They have worked literally around the clock to help customers and non-customers alike to navigate the complexities and confusion of this new program.”

Jim Esch, Ballot Hero

“I feel compelled to give a shout-out to the incredible team at Dundee Bank. Our contact at Dundee was crazy present and helpful. He kept in touch throughout the entire process, gave us all the info he could and was kind and super supportive every step of the way. I’ve banked with Dundee Bank as an individual, a small business owner and now as a non-profit and they’ve been nothing but awesome, every time.”

Brigitte McQueen, Executive Director at the Union for Contemporary Art

PPP Extension

The SBA’s Paycheck Protection Program will be restarted with $310 billion in funding.  Businesses who want to get a piece of that funding will need to act quickly. Here’s some key information about the extension:

  • Businesses who have already submitted an application but did not receive funding in the first round are automatically in line for the second round of funding.
  • $60 billion of the new round of funding is specifically set aside for community banks.
  • These funds are first come, first serve through the SBA.

Dundee Bank is here to help small businesses through this challenging time. To apply for a loan or for more information, contact your banker at Dundee Bank.
